I have been following Stacey Monk on Twitter and her exceptional work through Epic Change in helping Mama Lucy build and equip a school for village children in Tanzania. The story of how the efforts have been developing over the period of just over a year and the impact this has had on the children is really inspiring. Please do take time to look through the website and read different blog posts.
The reason I am posting this request now is that Stacey has entered their first video in YouTube competition for funds to equip the school further. They need lots of people to vote for them. Their jury are YOU, so please VOTE at YouTube if you agree with me that this is a worthwhile example of a social business that not only bridges continents but provides unique opportunities for all involved (whether people going to help in Tanzania or mama Lucy or her school kids) to meet, enjoy working together, learn about each other and have fun.
We need more such examples. Let us know if you come across any others.

Thanks so much for posting about our entry! The judges will announce the top 10 on September 12th; once we’re in (positive thinking, right?), I’ll let you know as popular vote will determine the winner of the competition – so we’ll really need your help!
In the meantime, I hope you’ll learn more about our unique model – and get involved – at http://www.EpicChange.org and will follow our story on our blog at http://www.EpicChange.org/blog.
Thanks so much!

Well done, Stacey and Lilly!
I just watched the video and rated it “awesome” but didn’t find our site among the sites that link to it. Do you have any idea whether some crawlers do it automatically or whether we need to do something?
Ah, these wonders of net-working!
