I heard on the news this morning that food banks are hurting as well here in the United States. Due to the rise in food prices more and more families are turning to the food banks and they are running low.

Yes, dear Cascia, it is completely shocking what is happening.
It seems as if the only way out is ‘to huddle together’ and help each other. After ‘everybody for themselves’ we now maybe turn ‘social networking’ into ‘financial networking’ as a way of helping each other.
‘Social lending’ is one way forward. Virtual currencies another.
We all have to rise to the challenge: each in our own way, one at a time…
