Public Participation and CSR Conference

Public Participation and Corporate Social Responsibility: from why to how

International Conference – 27th to 29th August 2008, Glasgow, UK

The International Association for Public Participation (IAP2) conference will be held in partnership with the Scottish Centre for Sustainable Development (SCSCD) at the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow.

The purpose of the conference is to bring all parties associated with the citizen engagement debate together. This will include international corporations, the community and voluntary sectors, business and public authorities. The conference will be highly interactive; will present the latest in public engagement research; and will illustrate substantial numbers of case studies where public engagement has been shown to be successful.

The conference will be designed to ensure that all delegates are part of an inclusive process of discussion, debate sharing and reflection. The process will ensure a balance between presentations and more interactive group discussions through a range of workshops, case studies and events.
